Annapurna Base Camp Trek

In the heart of the massive snow capped peaks the Annapurna sanctuary trek, also known as Annapurna base camp trekking, is an exquisite trek encircled by the mountains in all four directions. This trek is appropriate route for everyone. Even for those who do not have any experience. You will ascent up to maximum elevation of stunning peaks like Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Himchuli, Dhaulagiri and several others. Likewise en-route you will get a chance to observe hospitable Gurung ethnic inhabitants culture and life style. At spring time the blooming rhododendron forest with a flowery carpet lane makes your trekking days a great moment. Afterwards the hot springs will make you to feel more pleasant.

Trekking in Annapurna sanctuary doesn’t need experience but requires a good equipment. Annapurna base camp trek can be done all year round but the main season for this route is spring (February – May) and autumn (September – December).

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 2: Pokhara 1,5 hours by vehicle, trek to Tikhedhunga 3 – 4 hours
Day 3: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani 5 – 6 hours
Day 4: visit Poonhill trek to Tadapani 4 – 5 hours
Day 5: Tadapani to Chomrung
Day 6: Chomrung to Dovan
Day 7: Dovan to Durali
Day 8: Durali to Annapurna base camp(ABC)
Day 9: ABC trek down to Bamboo
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinudada
Day 11: Jhinudada to Tolkha
Day 12: Tolkha to Fedi and drive to hotel
